Bryant's ideas are informed by a deep interest in critical theory, queer theory and psychoanalysis, as well as his life- long engagement with art and image-making. Through irony and allegory, his work explores neoliberal fantasies of self-sufficiency and the actual psycho-social and economic dependencies they aim to deny.
