Super glossy Fujiflex is more commonly used as an advertising or point of sale media. Here an oversized print of an archetypal palm tree , formally shot against an uncannily perfect sunset, is composed on the wall with another equally sized print which features the sunset only. The playfulness of the composition rests on interplay between the image content and the edges of the substrate. The exotic imagery is brought into a conscious relation with the medium that communicates it.
