My Culture is Beautiful was made for the exhibition Dancing at The Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle upon Tyne. The film documents a performance at The Laing Art Gallery of the artist dancing to Makina Spanish Techno music, in front of historic paintings in the galleries collection by influential English Romantic painter John Martin, who also was born in the North East of England.
