Rachel Lancaster in residence at Launch Pad LaB, France

Rachel Lancaster is currently undertaking a residency at Launch Pad LaB at La Boissière in south-west France.

Established in 2018, Launch Pad LaB was developed by contemporary art collector and philanthropist Veronique de Champvallier Parke in collaboration with collector and art historian Sarah Lee Elson. Situated on the grounds of La Boissière, an ancestral home in the French countryside, the programme offers artists time and space for research and experimentation away from the demands of their usual routines.

Each edition brings together up to four artists for six to eight weeks, providing opportunities to develop new work, collaborate and respond to the local environment. Previous residents include Mary Ramsden, Nicholas Deshayes and Isobel Nolan.
