Those looking to uncover art starts of the future should be sure to make time for the Discoveries secovtor, which will this year feature solo and dui exhibitions from 24 galleries. Hihglights include work from Wu Tsang's Duilian project presented by Berlin's Galerie Isabella Bortolozzi; complext ink drawing by Pakistani artist Waqas Khan from Madrid's Sabrina Amrani; a joint installation by Ayesha Sultana and Rathin Barman brought by Experimenter of Kolkata; and a scultural installation by Joel Kyack courtesy of the UK's Workplace Gallery, which explores the interation between rampant consumerism and culture in Hong Kong. Relatedly, this year's fair reveals the outcome of the inaugural BMW Art Journey, an initative to support emergin artist that was awarded to Samson Young last year. Young's resultant work, For Whom the Bell Tolls: A Journey into the Sonic History of Conflict, will be unveiled along with the shortlist for this years award.
