A model of the Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse, Jutland, Denmark – finished in 1900 on top of a cliff 60m above sea level and 200m from the coast, but has now been almost completely buried by shifting sands as coastal erosion causes the cliff to move further inland and the sand dune grows continuously.
