We live in an image world. Pictures circulate at the speed of thought, shaping not only what we see, but how we understand time, value, and presence. This exhibition brings together artists who use photographic imagery and its mediated aesthetics to explore how visual culture registers the contemporary moment. Image World examines how the proliferation of images shapes the way we see and understand the world today. As social media and digital technologies have become embedded in everyday life, an overwhelming range of images and data now circulates constantly; pets appear alongside war and catastrophe, collapsing intimacy and spectacle into a single visual stream.

The artists featured in Image World demonstrate that images are not neutral: they influence, distort, and actively construct reality. Rather than critiquing visual culture from a distance, their work reveals how we are all embedded within a system in which images do not merely reflect the world, but continuously produce it. Image World will be a visual spectacle, bringing together artists connected through process rather than imposing a singular thematic narrative. Through these varied material translations, the exhibition raises urgent contemporary questions around authenticity and materiality in an age saturated with digital reproduction.
